Lahore: Well-known YouTuber Rajab Butt has been granted interim bail by a sessions court in Lahore in connection with a case filed under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and Section 295-C, which pertains to alleged blasphemy, according to ARY News.
Court Issues Arrest Stay Until June 21
During a hearing on Thursday, the court ruled that police are prohibited from arresting Rajab Butt until June 21. Butt appeared before the court in person and was directed to fully cooperate with the ongoing police investigation.
Case Originates from Controversial Perfume Launch
The case was registered at the Nishtar Colony Police Station following the controversial launch of Rajab Butt’s perfume, which was branded with the number “295.” This product sparked significant backlash and criticism on social media due to its religious implications.

Following his arrest, a special judicial magistrate found Rajab Butt guilty of illegal possession of a wild animal. Instead of serving time in jail, he was sentenced to one year of community service.
