CM Punjab Free Insulin Program – July 2025 Update Free Treatment for Diabetic Patients Begins
CM Maryam Nawaz introduces free insulin program for children battling type-I diabetes in Punjab. The goal is to help families who can’t afford daily insulin medicines.
Home Delivery of Insulin
Under the new CM’s Insulin Card program:
- Insulin is now delivered straight to children’s doorsteps by Pakistan Post riders.
- These packs include insulin, glucometer, test strips, and needles .
Insulin Card & Quality Assurance
- Children receive an Insulin Card, which is scanned by delivery riders for identity and tracking.
- Every pack includes a three-month supply, kept cold using proper “cold chain” delivery methods.
Who Can Register?
Families can register at:
- NCD clinics
- Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics
- Via the Healthline App (1033)
During Phase 1, around 1,500 children across Punjab were included.
